Job Description
The candidate will manage a range of projects involving internal and external collaborators and variable deadlines within our PBHI department. Additional core responsibilities include helping to hire, train and manage the staff, interact with multiple collaborators across sectors (academic, non-profit, for-profit), and help faculty investigators in meeting objectives of specific projects, both short and long-term. Given the wide range of projects and the broad network of collaborators both within BU and outside of BU (including international), there are a myriad of tasks that range from helping develop big picture strategic plans to detailed day-to-day operations management. This position does not have direct reports, but it does involve oversight of multiple employees including two other program managers. The work is independent in nature and requires moderately complex problem solving, but it does involve periodic check-ins with higher level leadership within the org unit. This position will help coordinate data collection, processing, analysis and sharing for multiple PBHI projects. The Program Manager will be responsible for working with internal project research teams, external collaborators, and funders to implement, monitor and report progress of multiple projects, and to assist with the preparation of grants, progress reports, presentations, and other deliverables. This position will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining IRB compliance, generating and continuously updating manuals of procedures, working with data management in data quality control of data and preparation of data for analysis and sharing. The priorities of responsibilities are expected to be dynamic based on the needs of the team at any given time.

The PBHI has garnered attention of multiple sectors and thus new projects and opportunities are continuously emerging. Thus this position requires someone who is comfortable working in a dynamic environment where the day-to-day details are constantly changing and priorities are being recalibrated and reorganized on an on-going basis.

Required Skills
REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors Degree with 1-3 years of experience
Masters degree with 0-12 months of experience
Strong communication, time management, and project management skills and experience
Experience working collaboratively within team settings in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Familiarity with data management and relevant software (eg: SAS, R, SPSS or Python)
Knowledge of working with project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project, Trello, Monday.com, Notion)
